The underdogs and rookie Macee Utecht have agreed to a $5/2-tournament contract. Macee is a former college volleyball player at Gonzaga University. With Macee and Tierney Uhlenkott, the underdogs are not only the only team in the JAL to currently have a woman on their roster, but are just the 3rd team in league history to have 2 women on a team together.
Macee is expected to be the starting fielder for the team as insurance behind Adam Clark who is expected to be the team’s starting pitcher in JAL XIII.
