Lucas is the biggest name still on the market and he will either play for the Fog, Cobras or Rapids. Each of those teams have made him a max contract offer, so now it’s just a matter of waiting for Lucas to make up his mind.
The Express considered going after Lucas for a couple days, but owner Garrett Blain said this morning that he has decided not to pursue. Any of the three teams would be a great fit for Lucas. Right now the Fog are probably the front runners because their pitcher Jacob Rahn is Lucas’s brother in law, but we’ll see what happens.
